iPrimus offers a number of services that are offered as unmetered content, that is; sites that do not count towards your monthly download quota.

If you are using a Proxy Server, to make use of this unmetered zone you will need to make some exceptions in your Proxy settings, otherwise access to these sites will count towards your download quota when you use the Proxy.

Setting up Proxy Exceptions

Open Internet Explorer and look for the Menu items "File Edit View Favoirtes Tools Help", if these are not visible, right click the grey bar area near the top and select the option Menu Bar. This will enable the Menu options.

Under the Menu Tools select Internet Options, then in the window that appears, click the Connections tab.

Down the bottom of this window, click Lan Settings and then if you have a proxy configured, click Advanced.

In the advanced window, you'll see a section for exceptions. If you have other exceptions there you can just add more by separating them with a Semi-Colin. The options you need to add to use Unmetered sites, are;

*.iprimus.com.au;*.ipgn.com.au;*primus.com.au

This will exclude all sites beginging with iprimus.com.au, ipgn.com.au and primus.com.au. If you don't want to exclude the entire domain, you can just enter specific sites, like mirror.iprimus.com.au.

When you're done, click Ok, then Ok, and Ok again to Save your settings and close the Internet Options Menu.

Open Firefox and click on Tools in the top menu, then click Options.

Under Options, click the Advanced section, then click on the Network tab.

Under the Network tab where it sais Connection click Settings.

In the Connection Settings, you should see your proxy settings, and an exceptions section with the title No Proxy for: in this text box, add the following;

.iprimus.com.au, .ipgn.com.au, .primus.com.au

Separate using a comma and a space, then click Ok, and Ok again to save your changes.

This will exclude all sites beginning with iprimus.com.au, ipgn.com.au and primus.com.au. If you don't want to exclude the entire domain, you can just enter specific sites, like mirror.iprimus.com.au.
