Once your internet is active, you can start connecting your devices wirelessly.

  • Check the sticker at the back of your modem
    • SSID – Your network name
    • WLAN Key –Your Wi-Fi password
  • Connect your devices to Wi-Fi by searching for the ‘SSID’ and using the ‘WLAN’ key as the security password.

Depending on your modem and device, you can connect on 2.5 GHz or 5 GHz frequency. You can test which network is more compatible with your device.

For fast and stable connection, please take note of the following factors which may affect your speed and connectivity:

  • Distance from the modem
  • Physical obstructions that may block Wi-Fi signals (thick walls, microwaves, etc)
  • Number of users sharing the same connection/bandwidth
  • Other wireless networks
  • Device/Modem specification and settings

To improve or extend your Wi-Fi signal, you can use Wi-Fi boosters or extenders.

If you’re having issues connecting to your Wi-Fi:

  • Check if the Wi-Fi light in your modem is ON
  • Check if you have entered the correct username and password

If you’re having poor Wi-Fi signal or keeps on disconnecting:

  • Check your signal strength and move closer to the modem
  • Turn your device/modem off/on to reboot your connection
  • Disconnect other devices from Wi-Fi to limit bandwidth sharing
